Room - 151 Library Dr. Houma, LA - 1:00PM Guest Speaker - Donovan Garcia is a native of Jeanerette and has lived in St. Mary Parish since 1977. He became a founding member of the Friends of Bayou Teche National Wildlife Refuge and is still a current board member. He designed most of the hiking trails on the refuge, one of which was nationally recognized. His talk will include the history of the Bayou Teche National Wildlife Refuge, the Wildflower Energy Project and transforming the pipelines and rights-of-way on the refuge to benefit wildlife.
